MATERIALS NEEDED TO MAKE THE VELVET CHRISTMAS TREE
- Paper mache cones
- If you are making your own cones, try a poster board
- Glue gun and glue sticks
- Velvet ribbon (3/8 size)
HOW TO MAKE THE WHITE FEATHER CHRISTMAS TREE
- Choose the right size paper mache cones to make the velvet tree. I chose the medium one in the set for this.
- You don’t even have to paint the cone! Start gluing the ribbon from the top to bottom as shown.
- That’s all you have to do! Make sure you overlap a little while gluing so that the cone base is not shown in between the ribbon.

Beautiful velvet trees. Very classy! Nhow do you cover cone with felt. Making strips like velvet ribbon or in one piece! Kathleen
It is best to cover the cone in one piece so that you will have a blank surface to stick velvet ribbon. Hope this helps your project.
